Club Code of Conduct

Be kind and courteous– We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required. Foul language will not be tolerated. 

No hate speech or bullying– Make sure that everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

Graphic content on social media– Whilst we understand the need to share, please note that graphic photos of dog injuries are not permitted on social media platforms and will be deleted to protect our members from disturbing imagery.

No promotions or spam on social media - Give more to this group than you take. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed.

No advertising of any sort on social media – Please donʼt advertise any of your business, unless someone has asked for a recommendation and you can mention yours, a friends or other. Puppies for sale are not permitted.

The Weimaraner Club of WA holds regular meetings throughout the year including:

  • Committee Meetings - quarterly to be decided at the commencement of calendar year. Attendance by Committee Members only.
  • Annual General Meeting - held in early in the year. Date TBA
  • Social meet-ups and gatherings - monthly when possible. Advertised for registration across social media platforms. Meet-ups are usually at no cost to members. 
  • Education / Information sessions - education sessions are free or provided at a discount rate to members. Prospective owners are welcome to attend to learn more about the breed.

We are always seeking enthusiastic people who can volunteer their time to join us on the committee.
