Rally Seminar

The Weimaraner Club of WA is pleased to give club members an opportunity to come along to a Novice Rally Seminar. The seminars will cover Basic skills required to compete in Rally-O, a discussion and demonstrations of the Rally Signs, and a chance to try a course.

Rally Obedience is like a cross between obedience and agility - all obedience exercises carried out in a course situation. Put simply, you follow instructional signs throughout a "course" from beginning to end with your dog, and like obedience, you pass and compete at numerous levels, gaining titles along the way.Rally Obedience - or Rally O for short - is a more relaxed competition that allows us to interact a little more with our dogs and approach obedience from a different angle. Having to follow a course layout keeps us and our dogs thinking and there is no time for boredom to set in.

All members and their dogs are invited to attend. It is a requirement, however, that while discussion and demonstration takes place, dogs are kept quiet on leash, crated or in cars. Any members who wish to learn about Rally-O but are not yet confident to bring their dogs, are also welcome to attend.
