If your baby is over 1 year old or a very mature/ large puppy don’t despair and join us for a walk and play around Carine open space. We will meet at the same location as the puppies, but we will not stay there. At the end of the play date/ walk we will have an opportunity to interact together.

It is a very shallow part of the river and a great location to get your fur baby to take his/her first steps (strokes) into the water.

Please join us for our 2022 AGM breakfast.

The official part is very casual, takes about 15 min and includes update about the club activities over the past year and election of a new committee. The rest is spent eating, chatting, playing and generally having fun.

Everyone is welcome including kids and 4 legged kids.

Breakfast for humans will be provided, as well as treats for the fur babies.

The meet will take place at Nedlands foreshore near the skatepark and not far from the Nedlands yacht club, for exact location please see the picture in the Google Dropped Pin below.

Good recall or lead is imperative for this walk as there may be kangaroos, emus and snakes around, but with enough noise they should steer clear. Also, don’t forget to bring water for you and your dog.

The route around the lake is approximately 2.5km. It is a beautiful walk with bush areas and plenty of wildlife.

It's all considered off lead as long as you have control over your dog. We found that it's best to use lead sometime to avoid the tamptation to chase ducks into the water or bath in swamp water.
